Discovery Coffee - Victoria: Your Cozy Spot for Exceptional Coffee

I recently visited a café in downtown Victoria and had a good experience. The coffee is good, and there are plenty of options on the menu. There are many indoor and outdoor chairs available. Inside, it’s cozy and well-designed, making it a great spot to relax. The outdoor seating is fantastic in the summer if you're lucky enough to find a spot. Overall, it's a nice place to enjoy a coffee and unwind.

Cozy atmosphere, rich flavours, this coffee shop is a true gem! velvety lattes every sip is a delight. A perfect spot to relax, or catch up with friends. Highly recommended!

Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, so mix it up. The corridor and cappuccino were both delicious and were served with tonic water. This location also has doughnuts, which we did not try. Our beverages both had great latte art.

I ordered an iced mocha with oat milk and sugar free vanilla and it was delicious! I would definitely go again and I thought it was great quality coffee. They were sold out of all baked goods at the time of our visit, so get there a bit earlier if that is something you are interested in!

It's been a while since I had donuts and I wanted to try their vegan donuts. But after looking at the donut display, I realized that they would all contain too much sugar. Then we saw the little 'V' symbol marking some of the muffins as vegan. We ordered the Morning Glory and Blueberry Banana Tumeric. They were both delicious! The Morning Glory has carrots, raisins, pumpkin seeds, etc. and very addictive! I don't normally watch my latte being made, but since my friends decided to wreck my holiday by refusing to stop for coffee, I stood and waited for my drink in a paper cup :(. The barista was very exacting. For my single shot latte, after pulling my shot, he used two espresso shot glasses to mix the espresso and measured the single shot exactly so that the crema would be just right for the shot. Had we stayed in Victoria longer, I would have insisted that we visit this place again for the full Discovery experience.

I think this place is fairly new. There were so many different baked items in the show case. They all looked delicious making it difficult to choose. The coffee was super hot which I like. There is inside and outside seating which is a must in Victoria because of the ever changing weather. Two coffee and a donut cost $11.00 with a tip included. This is about average in Victoria. Only a 5 minute walk from our hotel on the west side of downtown Victoria.
